Wakakusa Moxa is a type of Japanese moxa particularly ideal for warm-needling. Loose and free from stems, you can mould the moxa into the exact shape you need and rely on it to adhere to the needle quickly and easily.
Shape it up
Thanks to the malleability of this Japanese moxa punk—the fluffy moxa that’s not pre-formed—you can shape it into rolls, pyramids and any other shape you need. This is ideal if you offer lots of moxibustion treatments, as it’s very flexible. For warm-needling, the punk adheres well to needles.
Burn temperature
For a soybean-sized piece, the maximum temperature advised is 135 degrees C (275 F).
